Me and my friends have to much fun in starbound :P

This is awesome and something I wish I did in video games more often.

 

Wish more of my buds played Starbound or played games on PC for that matter. Just been duo-ing with one of my best friends. Which is still fun, but the more the merrier

 

Awww well definitely can say the more people the better If you ever want people to play with feel free to pm me and ask for my skype we could also use more people on our server its just 5 of us right now.

 

Literally none of my good friends, be it people I met online some time in the past few years or people I've known since I was 6, seem to want to play this.

My best friend since ye olde days of NES prefers Minecraft to all else. Him and his buddies don't really seem to like Terraria that much and wont pony up the cash to get Starbound. :/

They also stopped playing on their own Minecraft server in order to play on some... Nerdcraft, or something like that, server. Which turned out to be run by some tightwads that don't like you using minimaps that give you sonar underground. Yeah, as if Terraria didn't basically have that built in. :/

Minecraft is so godforsaken overrated. I kinda regret buying it.

 

This game is so fun, no wonder you and your friends have so much fun playing it!

Personally, I play this game alone but plan on buying a few copies for some friends and family for Christmas, fantastic gift, if you ask me! Then maybe later i'll be able to enjoy the game with friends and get the full experience!

I dont think it is overrated it is just the player base of the game is extremely large. I definitely can say i enjoy minecraft alot but over the past year i have grown tired of playing it and im glad starbound is finally out.

 

I'm really enjoying it! I hope they enjoy it as much as I do!

 

man i am in this same situation. i have seriously ONE good friend that shows any interest in starbound, and he bought it a little after it came out and it didn't work and was crashing and then he finally got it to work after some googling around hotfixes for 64-bit OS but by then he was so frustrated, then they wiped everything the next day so he just gave up and said he'll maybe be back when it's ready and that's a maybe... all my other close gaming friends are into LoL, and this new one called Fonline: Reloaded (fallout 2 online mod) at the moment. can't convince anyone over, you would not believe how much effort i put forth in trying to get all my friends to play the same game together.

 

It really is overrated. Large fan base despite better options is the description of overrated. Terraria beats the pants off it and if Starbound ends up beating the pants off Terraria that's really saying something.

 

My friend and I have been excited for Starbound and have been waiting for months for it to come out. So we has just as equal of an interest in the game. After the wipe, we were ready for another run through This guy is pretty much my gaming buddy and like a brother in real life. Sucks that your friend gave up playing I hope he gets back to playing with you.

 

I don't really see it as overrated. I've had so much fun with friends on Minecraft and had a lot of good memories.
I've been playing Minecraft since Beta 1.2 and the game has changed a lot since then. Don't really like a lot of the new changes to the game, and it has gotten boring. I don't remember the last time I played it. But it's a fun game, and I've had good times, and I got my money's worth out of it. That's all that matters to me really.

oh i will get him to play, and he will enjoy it and love it like i will!! we have been friends forever and play music together and everything, and gaming is one hobby that will never get old. plan on gaming into my 90's (if i live that long)

Thanks we are actually expanding the house as we speak. And the fridge is from i believe a village. I will post updated screens of the house as we build

 

I was really lucky to have a good friend buy me and my boyfriend copies of this game. We just got multiplayer to work for us recently. We were having so much fun. THANK GOD you can't kill other players. I mean we figured that out pretty quickly, but man did we keep trying. My friend Alex made me freeze to death, because I took away his apex record player. It was so annoying. He is no longer allowed to be on campfire duty.
