I really, really want a cohesive set of portraits for everyone in the game. Almost everyone is focusing on the ones you can marry, which I do appreciate, but I want to have everyone matching

Aaaah, here I am hoping for an Alex sprite in your style! These are absolutely adorable, they remind me especially of the Grand Bazaar version of Harvest Moon.

You know, I was going through the portraits section, glancing at the various artstyles, going "this is really clever, but not quite my style" and "hmm, interesting touch-up" and "heh, that's actually clever and pretty nice looking". Then I stumbled into this thread. I've found what I was looking for.
Awesome mod, can't wait to see how the rest of the bachelors/bachelorettes (and possibly villagers if/when you get around to 'em) turn out! (I'm especially looking forward to Alex, hehe)
