Maybe this wasn't such a smart idea... *spoiler*

    First post , I'll make it straight forward.

    So i got this mission to make the distress beacon , and did it straight away. Ignoring the thing saying that i should better gear up , what could go wrong ? I have a weapon which can 1 hit or 2 hit kill every mob around ! (except those knights in that huge castle... yeah that one didn't end well...)

    So now my house is a crater filled with bazooka penguins and tanks , i die within seconds each time i spawn and i can't even take one bar of health off that damn UFO (that crushing attack is making me crazy.)

    Maybe taking on the first boss with one stone dagger and copper pants wasn't such a good idea .. ?

    Help ?

    The early game difficulty is pretty high, from what I hear. The devs are aware of this, and will be doing some balancing. Other than waiting for a patch, the best I can give you is to try and get some better gear before you try again.

    Oh man, reading that was hilarious. Perhaps you should become one with the penguins?

    I wish I could help, but I'm not sure how bosses despawn quite yet. Perhaps if you quit and re-entered the game?

    Have you tried encasing the ship and then hammering away at it?

    This can be applied to just about anything difficult I've encountered.

    Well , closing the game and coming back made the boss go away , So that's that.

    But Yeah , i did spend like 1 hour to get all these materials for the distress beacon , so this is going to be fun if i have to get stuff for better weapon/armor too , it's going to take quite some time.

    Edit: that's a good idea Klenne , I'll try that next time if i still can't beat him.

    Well I was in the same place as the OP, used up all my materials for a beacon and as soon as I placed it outside my bunker those penguins were all over the place.

    I could have spent an hour pecking away at it with my wooden bow, but I decided to see what else was possible and this was the result but only after it stopped shooting and hovered around.

    Just one more thing they can add to the list.
