I kind of find it funny. How for those who are semi-glued or just flat out stuck on the forums.
You will always manage to see all this information before the newsletter even is released.

Therefor, seeing absolutely nothing new in the newsletter.
A disappointment really but hey.. that'd be our own faults for being so glued here.

 

At the very end it said something about a trailer ASAP, at least that will make me happy. Everything else isn't much of a surprise to us cause we keep stalking them for more information. If we didn't do that I think we'd be more blown away about the ships.

So then we'll get the trailer in a week or two at least.

People should realize that the newsletter typically is just things that we already know, and is for those who don't visit constantly to see this stuff.

 

News? I don't see any news. Everything there has been revealed already.

Except for the apex ship, I guess.

Generally I give the Chucklefish team the benefit of the doubt, but this really isn't as cool as the previous ones.

 

actually why they want to go you know they didnt vote for themselves right they voted for a nomination with no chance of winning a nomination molly made for a game rho worked on called gnomoria the dev team is literally a programer and rho and 1 other person unfortunatley gnomoria has no chance at winning with only 22 votes so is it a crime for chucklefish to want to go themselves since there sponsered game doesnt have a chance

 

That is really hard to read with no punctuation at all. My point was that the entire nature of the contest:

is to nominate "the little guys" who otherwise wouldn't have a chance. I fully get that it was a thing done by a fan to bring "their" indie developer to E3 to showcase, and that's all well and good, but they are plastering it all over the site. The front page, the newsletter, their twitter... That's not the fan nominating them and them going cause everyone else agreed, that's them actively wanting to win this contest. But honestly i just don't feel that chucklefish qualifies as "the little guy" after raising a million in pre-orders and Already having a spot on steam without having to go through greenlight.

then got nominated themselves . yes there plastering this every where. but look at the chuckle fish sanctioned nominee not doing well at all and the game is faboulous

Beta won't be out til after E3. Read the front page on what they would bring to E3. Expect beta July.

 

May newsletter is ... well... very disappointing. No real news or new content so far

agreed. Like, i was hoping that the newsletter would be a monthly source of fresh information. Not a wrap up of all the information that the lazy ,non-dedicated forum members missed... Grrr
(same thing happened the past two months)
