Make the birds wait till you wash your brand new hover car/board/wagon/flowerbed , wax it get it all purty...then fly over and poop all over it! Just like in real life!
Good, because fighting the birds were pissing me off, so I'm glad that someone decided to step in and fix the problem with the unfair system where the birds always had the upper hand, no matter what I had equipped or the tactics I planned prior to the battle.
Add trees that are bird nests/smth. If you try to cut down the tree, then you would have to fight a wave of birds. They would keep spawning out of the nests/ofscreen until the tree is down or you had ran away. Loot would consist of random recipes, pixel amounts, random small items and a chance to find an egg to get the bird as a pet (rare). Oh and the nests would regenerate (not appear more) on other trees and you after destroying a nest would decrease the spawn rate of the birds.
I wondered if there would be holes in the ground for space bunnies in the other update, now I really wonder if there would be bird nests from which alien eggs/fetuses could be stolen.
Will I still be able to farm the birds and make hundreds of thousands of pixels in a matter of 1-2 hours?
They stopped giving out dates when failing them came to bite them in the ass. So you're not likely going to get one
Is there ever gonna be an Ocean Planet? Because if there was, I a really random idea, where a boss is a giant whale, and you must fight it on an ocean planer, and when you kill it, you get whale bones, and with whale bones you can resurrect it and make a half robot, half living whale that you can ride and it shoots lasers and stuff.
We had a lot of update in a last few days, different team members tell us about interesting stuff they are working right now, but if i'm not missed something i still don't who is working on core mechanics stuff? Like progressing?
Just expanding on your note, I really think there should be a distinct difference in animal behaviour in threat levels. Not just increasing damage and defence, but their overall mechanics.
I'd like to see this too. I'm hoping that pack animals will appear at later threat levels, so you could have a group of 2-4 monsters that stick together, or a small flock of birds that stay in the same area and gang up on their chosen target. The simplest way to handle it would seem to be making one monster the leader and the rest of the group inherits targets they choose, the direction/distance they travel, etc. Attack any one of the group and they all aggress toward you, of course. In some cases, the way it is now, fighting multiple enemies isn't much different to the way you fight a single one, but hopefully more strategy can come into it as the combat mechanics improve. I'd also like to see some birds (and perhaps other monsters) that are the active inverse of aggressive. In other words, they'll always try to evade you rather than ignoring you or making a beeline for you. It would add an extra element of challenge if you had to go after a specific type of monster and it was more difficult to kill in terms other than simply more HP or more damage output. I know some monsters already run away but I mean something more granular where they essentially tease the player but don't flee completely. Not much use for it right now but with quests and expanded hunting it could be rather useful..
Tiy made a post maybe in March \ April that they planned on releasing the update in "May" - after everyone has moved. But I do believe Kyrens move was delayed for a week from the planned schedule. Also from the sounds of the recent update the new Ship Upgrades are not complete. So First or 2nd Week of June.
Haven't seen much of you metadept, but I'm glad you've brought this nice little update on how things are doing. Nice job, guys.
Me and my friends really like that updatefrequency here but when will updates for the game be out? I didn't see a single one for months now
