Hey all! Feel free to share your massive builds here. Below was an attempt to replicate Wayne Manor and of course, the Batcave underneath it. I personally love the batmobile at the bottom. EDIT: Update of the ongoing project to turn the planet into one big civilization!
Hmmm... A mod with hidden switch would be awesome for the bat cave... Like a head of a statue... Maybe I will do a try to do a mod for that. (but I promise nothing)
Hey Brassqund, that sounds great! Random comment: Right now I'm just extending the tunnel so it reaches the towns / cities that'll be popping up on this planet.
I looked at the picture before reading anything and basically went, "Hey, that kinda looks like the bat ca- Oh, it is the bat cave." Suffice it to say, Good Jorb.
Hey all, remember to post your awesome massive builds here! Share the awesome -------- So remember the tunnel that was coming out of the batcave? It does lead somewhere! The town here is glitch based (as you can probably tell). I basically removed an entire glitch town to bring it to this planet. The cathedral (left side) is built on top of what used to be an apex facility. Yes, an apex facility was demolished for this project. Note: This was done on a private server with my awesome partner.
Making myself a floran home tree, here is the current status of it I had a post on it before but since you invited people to share I may as well crop it up and post it here.

Sorry to post that picture twice, but it fits in this thread too This is the work from a few people on our server. Some buildings are missing like the big church in the sky, the modified seed farm and the floran style house, but I think it´s enaugh to get called a massive build The airship is a 1:1 copy from another planet. Very nice build there olDirdey. I particularly like the temple. The detail in it is really nice. It's awesome that people are starting to share their builds on this thread now Keep the posts coming!!
Thanks for your like. After the temple was build we thought that it would be nice to have a ship attached and so we decided to place it there We rebuild the skyfarm and placed a church on a cloud near to it and connected the clound with a skybridge to the farm and on the other side with a floran style tree house. Will post a new picture or a youtube link if I can connect next time to the server. We had some problems now after reinstall it.
My first go at building, learned a lot in the process. Plan on adding a subterranean lab. The most annoying part of a space base is that it takes over a minute and a half of butterfly boost to get there.
The first thought that came to me was orbital elevator ... Absolutely love it. This just inspired me to build something up to space as well !
Where on earth do you guys get the materials for all this? I fell like it would take forever to get enough materials for some of these builds I know there are creative mods out there... are you using them? I love the builds though and it has inspired me to try and take on a massive build of my own. Not sure what yet.
Hi Slaysem! Well you can actually see the outline of an apex lab (the one with the 200 or so tesla traps) under the cathedral. As a matter of fact, the cathedral was placed right on top of where the apex facility used to be (My partner and I used diamond picks and tore down the entire apex facility). I believe it took like one glitch castle worth of materials for the cathedral. A lot of the stone for Wayne Manor also came from glitch castles (and some underground finds). In general, it was a a LOT of right clicking to dismantle dungeons and stuff. To be fair, it wasn't done alone. Help is always a wonderful thing
Ah! Yes. I haven't played on a server yet so I've been doing everything alone. (I don't really mind too much the frown is more for dramatic effect) I did build a fairly large church that was going to be part of a village I was going to build but after I finished the church I left the planet for materials and forgot to make it my home. It was never seen again. I think that was back in the beta sector. Bright side. It inspired me to get to "end game" content faster and now I can rip down buildings and stuff for materials faster! Now it's just a matter of finding what to build. Maybe i'll start my village again and not forget to make it my home before I fly away. haha. EDIT: Yes I could see that being a lot of right clicking. I find sometimes ripping down the background can be annoying. lol
You can also write down the coordinates and name for the planet. That way you can always return even if it's not your home. I can't wait to start building the mega-tower that's going all the way up to space. Maybe I'll find an asteroid or something. (Planning to make the base of the tower 1000 blocks)
Yeah. I suppose I should write stuff down and I think I will start. Though I cant wait until they add the bookmarking to the game. That's a huge tower base. Do you plan on making it get thinner as it goes up until it gets to the top or will it be about 1000 blocks wide the whole way up? I'm interested cuz I really like how your build looks as is.
