Starbound Storyline - Prologue You were walking back to your home base. Suddenly, something crashes into the surface of your home world at high speeds. You investigate it and realize it has a toxic gas erupting from it, and looks brown and gooey. What alien race could have created such a weapon of mass destruction?! The danger of the brown goop forced you to escape. This is where your story begins... In short, space cows are a deadly race not to be reckoned with.
Dude, I watched the cartoon about the Soviet space "Mystery of the Third Planet" and there were cosmic cow. Developers can implement them as monsters or pets.
I personally think this would add some sort of immersion to the game. Even aliens have to do their thing, right?
Actually, my first reaction is "how the @#$% did this thing come out?" Then I realized that the cow would be literally pooping bricks. Next thought was that you probably think anything and everything should be a block. Maybe the Space cow is a block. A block that poops blocks. And if the universe is just a giant block... Blocks within blocks within blocks. It's Blockception. To take this thread way too seriously, I don't think I would ever consider building a house out of poop. I might build a house out of radioactive ore, but not poop.
Why not have a gas meter and when it fills, you have to fart within a certain amount of time or you explode? How about we add in a race of buttheads, who have butts instead of faces? Seriously, guys. This isn't a very helpful idea. Being able to use it as an item to fuel fire or fertilize crops is one thing, but the purpose of an actual block is to build. Nobody will even build anything out of poop, unless they are griefing. It might seem funny to you, but most of us aren't laughing. Heck, I wouldn't be opposed to space pirate penguins having a gun that shoots explosive poop mines, but not a poop block.
I am afraid there may be parties who would say that this idea is.. well, bulls*it. Har har har... har. ...Sorry. More seriously, as amused as I am by OPs idea and 'art', I don't think we really need it.
It needs to be affected by gravity, like sand is in Terraria. It could be the ultimate troll block! Dump it on your friends while they're digging a hole!
