I know this has been discussed earlier. Yet I wanted to know wether there are any known mods for adding mannequins to the game. I know there is one mod which contains mannequins but also lots of other stuff. Is it possible to extract the mannequin part from the mod and make it a standalone mod? Currently I'm referring to this mod: http://community.playstarbound.com/index.php?resources/electric-home-defense.728/ I know it's outdated but do you think just the mannequin part will still work?
I wish we had armor stands to display our armor just like how Terraria does. Hey Tiy! If you are somehow reading this please add them into starbound since you have worked on Terraria before... hehe Anyways I think adding mannequins for vanity/other gear and armor stands for armor as well as weapon racks for weapons would be an awesome addition to starbound imo. I hope this idea comes to life in a future patch.
I thought about this as well ... it would be awesome to have mannequins (and display cases) this game could really use something like this ^_^
Oh boy, I just made a new set of armor. Time to cram my old one into a locker somewhere and never touch it again even tho i thought it was kinda pretty and I put so much work into making it. Or how I have to hide all my hella neat costumes in some chest because i can't wear everything at the same time. Sure wish I had some way to keep them on display.
I hope that Mannequins are something that the developers are considering adding to the game, personally. It would be both a useful way of displaying outfits and gear that we really like AND keeping our armor inventory organized. Heck, they could go so far as to make weapons displayable alongside the idea.
i'd enjoy this quite a bit! considering. what if we also had weapon display racks? i would like to have a plaque to hold the beautiful sword i used for ages in a place of honor to admire after i've had to replace it. you could have vertical, horizontal, and crossed mounts. you could even make shield racks!
