nice to see some variety in your parts. i thought i would put them all together through photoshop |_____________ |COMING SOON!|--------\ |----------------- |----------\ ----O--------O----------------\ Quite chunky especially the engine. very cool snowplow however. just screwin with ya, dont suppose you are planning on drawing up the parts?
I love this idea, but I feel like if it's implemented it will be some time after release. I suppose until then we'll have to deal with the regular ones... Are those randomly generated? Also. CUSTOM SUBMARINE WARS ON OCEAN WORLDS, ANYONE?
I agree. Maybe he was just highlighting a point, or possibly, since he is new to the forums, he didn't mean to press 'reply' or he did but then pressed ok before he could leave a message On another note: the OP will receive another major upgrade today (I hope)
Awesme idea *reminisces about the long hours spent playing Extreme Tactics in the days of his youth* http://image.gamespotcdn.net/gamespot/images/screenshots/3/197263/extactic_screen001.jpg
If this does happen, I don't want it to turn into a repetitive process, such as identical parts on each vehicle, thus making the process less interesting. Example: Wheel upgrade #1 Wheel upgrade #2 Wheel upgrade #3 Etc. You get the point: hopefully it doesn't turn into one of those types of games (by games I mainly mean the engineering thing because I know the game will turn out great ) with repetitive quests, items, styles, and processes. BTW, nice, creative idea you have.
I really like the idea. I'm always for custom building stuff and the way you described it works pretty well.
I suppose vehicles which are not customized will have all their parts randomly generated. If you mean as in the stats of the part... well you can find parts with randomly generated bits inside them (COMING SOON!), but these mini-parts will not be for simplicity. When I find the time and patience, and when I am not playing don't starve, I will work some more on this....
That would be interesting A hard point based vehicle construction. Add various components to various hard points and see it in action.
