If you have any divorce-related screenshots, please feel free to post them here in spoilers. I saw this while just browsing articles and I... This dumb cinnamon roll's face and dialogue made my mummified heart beat a little sorrowfully. He's not my favorite bachelor but still. He looks like a kicked puppy. I didn't want to have these feelings. But at the same time I do.
Yeah, after divorcing Shane, (already), I tried to give him a present, and he snubbed me and said he didn't want my no good present....
I always said Haley is a super awesome, caring, sweet, interesting and deep character if you pay attention to her dialogue lines and character development. Now this. OMG, favorite waifu of the bachelorettes.
Wow, good on ya CA. Make people REALLY want to think about divorcing their chosen spouse...by making them feel the FEELS of doing so. I wonder if eventually you can start giving them gifts again, though. After all, people re-marry quite often IRL...so maybe it was made possible in the game, too?
I don't particularly mind, haha...though others might. You can PM it to me if you don't want to spoil others...since I'm not likely to ever divorce a character. I'd rather just start a new playthrough, tbh.
I'll just add a spoiler tag so if anyone else wants to know they can just click it! After unlocking the Witch's Hut, you can offer 30.000g to the Dark Shrine of Memories to erase your ex's memory, and the game will behave like you've never married before! There's 2 other Shrines as well, one where you can offer a Strange Bun in exchange of monsters showing up on the farm at night (much like the wilderness map) and one where you offer a Prismatic Shard to make your children turn into doves and fly away forever into the endless curse of being abandoned by their parents.
Anyone have screenshots of Abigail's post-divorce dialog? I'm kicking myself for not having the nerve to divorce her in my main playthrough.
That's what I planned when i made my 1.1 save. I figured I would try to marry one different person on each farm type, picking the girl based on how well their personality fits the type of farm i'm on. I guess since I picked the river farm first, I should go for Leah.
The only one of the new farm types I really like seems to be the Hilltop one...so it's probably the only one I'll ever do, heh. Not even sure I'll do that, though. There seems to be a lot of space where I can't actually dictate what goes where in any of them (cause of the grass there), which makes me just want to use the default farm because it's almost completely customizable, heh. =x
Basically with all the options we have now we can pretty much play out a pretty epic love story. Meet, fall in love, get married (and have kids if that's your thing), go through a rough patch with your spouse, get a divorce, then after ALL that, discover that the spark is still there and you really did love each other all along...all this in a simple farming sim. Who woulda thought?
