    Hiya, I bought the game the other day, and I'm really loving it.

    Only problem is, as I'm exploring worlds and such, I often will have a stuttering problem...

    Basically, the game will run smooth, and then (what it seems like anyway) it has to load a new tile texture or sprite it hadn't loaded before, and it freezes for 1-3 seconds, before continuing. When exploring new planets and coming across villages, this happens constantly until every tile of a village has been seen, then it happens only occassionally.

    The worst part though, is when I'm trying to fight enemies. Especially ones that dash and/or fly, the game stutters much more frequently, and it seems to register the enemy attacks while leaving my futile attempts of shooting or blocking unresponsive as I hold my shield down in vain.

    My best guess is the game is prioritizing the enemy ai/sprite loading over player inputs and framerate... I've been doing what I can to mitigate the issue (such as enabling fullbright, not zooming out, making my window smaller, not adding mods, etc.) but a lot of the solutions online call for config files that seem to not exist anymore or options that don't exist in the files anymore...

    I also didn't have any mods installed before I noticed the stuttering. I have since, installed one race mod, which hasn't changed performance in the slightest.

    I do admit, my PC is not the best by a long shot, but it's still pretty strong with a 4-core processor and 8GB of RAM on top of an Intel HD 4400 integrated graphics on a windows 10 desktop PC. When I look at my task manager it shows starbound doesn't even use half of my resources, so I'm extremely curious as to why it runs so terribly.
    (to put in perspective what I've been able to run with little to no issue: Heavily modded minecraft server AND client supporting 3 other players at once, Modded terraria server with 2 other players, Xcom - Enemy Within long war mod on medium graphics settings, and Subnautica on minimal settings.)

    If anyone has some insight or ideas that don't involve changing BIOS files or internal libraries of my comp... I'm all ears. I really want to enjoy the combat and exploration without dying all the time to framestops... ;-;
