Blue said Psionics will be in, but he didn't say it will include any elemental abilities, which is what I truly want, I don't wan't to play Psyconauts in Starbound (good game though), I want to be a "Mage" that uses technology for their powers (Like how Spiderman used a wrist trinket for his webs in the comic).
That's cool But I don't see why even bother bringing magic up in the first place. I like the gauntlet idea without adding the word to it. Terraria's magic was more of a ranged weapon that had some special attribute that could be used to a situation's advantage like bombing a pit or devastating a tight area, I personally thought it was great. I like the "technomage"-thing too. Babylon 5-fan here~
Rifts table Top RPG has Techno Wizards. the benifit of Techno Wizardry in Rifts is all those spells that take a while to cast can be tuned in to an object crafted for the purpose. then when you want to cast the spell, you just use the energy required. No casting time. point and click, if you will. But that's Rifts. and that's something that fits into a Dimensional Apocalypse setting... mostly because.. WHAT DOESN'T? lol
I agree with both of you, techno wizardry would fit the game perfectly, and they don't really have a reason not to.
