Closed MAC OS Starbound Problem

I do need a better mac, the graphics card is out of date, not gonna be able to run minecraft soon, also it's 8 years old. Might get a pc just for gaming but most likely gonna get a mac again I know how to upgrade them so it's not that hard, easier then a PC.

 

puh I don't know what do to than honestly... the thing is that Full screen mode is very unpractical, because it does not allow you to alt+tab out of the game (thats the reason I deactivated it). You can always try to reinstall the game, because it starts in windowed mode (I do not know about that after the last update tough).
And also you can save your character when you go first in the save file directory Steam ->right click Starbound->Local Files->browse local files->Player folder (it should be the place were you char is saved). However, be aware that in the next days there is a huge update coming which deletes your char anyway and probably your game could start working there again too.

 

you left out linux game runs flawless on ubuntu so if he cant afford a beter mac ubuntu is free alternative

 

I am having a problem on getting starbound in full screen. If i press the fullscreen button in the menu it will make the screen smaller. pls help. Specs: Processor 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

 

When it come up with " Starbound quit unexpectedly" click reopen, it worked for me.
