[Mac OS] Game will not boot

    Ok great I'm installing mavericks now, (not only for star bound but other purposes) and I really hope it works. From the sound of that though I am very optimistic!

    Not everyone can upgrade to Mavericks, for several reasons. I can't upgrade because this is also the machine I do all my work on, and since I can no longer upgrade to ML, I have to wait until all the software I use is updated to run as stable as possible on Mavericks, which will probably not be until the middle of next year. I do have a Boot Camp part. but it's a right pain in the butt to restart just to have a quick game of something.
