Bug/Issue [Mac] Game won't launch

    I just installed the game, and upon trying to launch the game, I get nothing but a bouncing icon in my tray. I tried this several times, including uninstalling and reinstalling as well as restarting my computer, but nothing seems to work.

    I tried looking at the other threads on the game not launching, and most of them seem to be Windows related. I am running Mac OS 10.11.6

    It looks like the game hung while creating the SDL window. I let it try to do its thing for 10 minutes before trying to force quit, and that's when the rest of the log was produced. When I did this, a window came up, but then immediately closed. This seems like some kind of deadlocking issue, but I'm not sure.

    Any help or guidance would be appreciated.

    EDIT
    After launching the application from command line, I found the following line in the output that wasn't in the log:

    This appears to be caused by a failure in OpenGL caused by Mac's dynamic graphics card switching. Changing my mac to only use the discrete graphics card fixed the problem.

    so how to change to only use the discrete graphics card?

    I use an app called gfxCardStatus. It lets you choose dynamic, discrete, or integrated.
