Mob idea- A large bear like creature that has prolonged saw like claws. They hide in trees and attempt to cut branches to fall on you as a form of attack. The only way to harm them is toeither used ranged wepons or cut down the tree, causing them to take minor damage, and then finish them off
What if a 'lumber bear' is like the Starbound name for a giant space beaver? xD Hear me out - The DNA & physical appearance of the creature would be bear-like. Its behavior/habitat/niche could be semi-aquatic though. Maybe they like to live in or near abandoned structures... Maybe abandoned lumber mills could be randomly generated, and a lumber bear could be one of several denizens? - best idea of everything I typed - BOOM!
