Bug/Issue Low fps while playing through steam

So when I run the game through executable file the game runs smoothly with absolutely no fps drops nor any issues, but when I try to run it through steam the game runs horribly with like 10-20 fps for no reason at all, is there any way to fix it so I could run it normally through steam?
