    Long story short. I lost my ship.

    I stay, the game decides to not respond. I beam down to the planet I am above. The game does not respond. Can um... Someone help?

    Using any ship / universe mods? (May be outdated)
    What does the log say?

    1. Post it in a spoiler
    2. Located in /giraffe_storage/
    3. It's the one without a number
    4. Might be displayed as "starbound" textfile if you don't display file extensions

    I haven't either.

    The game now runs really super slow and always decides not to respond. I am going to see if this is the same thing with my other character.[DOUBLEPOST=1432055433][/DOUBLEPOST]
    Yes that's the one. And I tried selecting my 2nd character's ship and that one worked fine.

    I came home but the game was already open. But half of the ship was gone. Then my computer crashed. So when I re booted the computer this keeps happening. I don't know why

    Okay, you know where the shipfile is right?
    I hope you didn't start your SB with that character too many times.
    Delete the associated shipworld file and rename the bak3 or bak4 one to end only with .shipworld.
    Those are the most recent backups made, in case something gets corrupted.

    Well, that's strange.
    I don't really get what's corrupted then.
    And it works with all other characters?
    Besides, you know you can just cheat shiupgrades, in case nothing else helps.

    /admin
    /spawnitem shipT8

    You'll still lose everything thats on your ship.

    I use the /admin command and then the /spawnitem shipT8 command and it says that. Am I doing something wrong?

    Well, seems like that computercrash corrupted a lot more things.
    Sounds like your character isn't proberly loaded into the world, stopping before it really loads the save.
    Still strange it's not throwing any errors tho.

    I think all I can do right now is make a new character and cheat my way to the finish. Cheat to get my items and everything back. Then delete the character that doesn't work afterwards.

    Some specific person said you should delete your universe client context files.
    Simply said, go to your universe folder and delete all files ending with .clientcontext.

    And, let us know the results please. :D
