Lost my nuts and bolts

Hi,

I found some kind of schematic called a nuts and bolts schematic. I held onto it until I got back to my ship at which time I tried left and right clicking on it to see if I could figure out how to use it, and now it's just vanished. I "believe" that I had it in my characters MM beam outside of the inventory box when I might have right clicked and it simply vanished.

I've checked the obvious spots like in the hotbar, and in both inventory bags but it's simply gone. Any clues if I destroyed it or if I sent it someplace else, it's not on the ground, don't know where it went off to.

Also, are there currently ways of getting more inventory bags for my characters inventory? 2 is nice and all but I fill those up with one simple raid. All the live streams I've watched and the let's plays I've not seen anybody with more than the 2 that you start off with but maybe they've not gotten far enough into the game like myself.

Where I'm from they just call it losing your marbles.

 

When a schematic-item is "used" it is removed and the crafting recepie is added to what your character can craft. This schematic in particular is a cooking recepie that can be crafted and a cooking table.

 

You sure it wasn't used? I think that might be a Glitch food recipe, so check a kitchen table / cooking counter.
