Closed Lost cash?

Hi guys,

So I've lost 2/3rds of my cash and have not died. My only thought is it may have something to do with the loading on the planet instead of the ship?

Wish I could be more specific as to when it occurred all I am sure of is that I have not died! Very strange.

Has anyone else encountered this?

(this wouldn't be a huge issue except that I had quite a lot and I'm playing RP )

 

You may upload your starbound.log and starbound.log.# files located in the giraffe_storage folder after renaming the latter ones to .txt (Upload a File on the lower right).
Please give as much information as possible about the condition this happened.

Leaving your character in the wild overnight doesn't seem to be a good idea huh? Space Bandits and 'space things' everywhere.. It was clearly a raid. Or ghosts. A nearby tavern - was your character sober?

Lets be honest... one too many saki's may have been consumed..

I logged on and sometime during my adventuring I noticed my cash loot was a lot different to how it was before!

 

So no starbound.log and no more starbound.log.# (3-5) files? The .log extension might not be visible. If you started Starbound again after uploading those logs, the former starbound.log would now be the new starbound.log.1.
No reviving mentioned in the two logs. (Would be there, checked this myself *cough*; of course, binge drinking or buying expensive loot is not covered by the logs)

Is this a planet generated in an older version?
You may right click on Starbound in Steam > Properties > Local Files > Verify ...

If further errors or misbehaviour occurs, please consider reinstalling Starbound from scratch without moving anything to the new installation. This should be done by renaming the Starbound folder to Starbound_old and verify files in Steam which forces a clean reinstall.

 

there was no starbound.log, and I do have 3-5 but they said they were running in the previous version upbeat giraffe, so I figured they weren't needed.

The status pod was an item I had in my inventory which turned into that 'perfectly generic item' thing. Not sure what you mean by planet.
