Bug/Issue Loss of relationship status with beta update

Excited to try out the 1.3 beta. Played one file and everything great so far. Then I played another file and upon opening the menu first thing in the morning, I see that my farmer is no longer in a relationship with Leah. Their relationship is still at 8 hearts, but she is listed as "single" and the last two hearts are blocked off. This did not affect my other file, as I am married to Shane in that one and nothing changed. It seems like it may only affect dating relationships for some reason? Anyone else have this bug and know any workarounds?
