Server Help Looking for new dedicated players to join our team

Hi everyone,

I am the co-owner of Aggressive Gaming Network (AGN). We are looking for more dedicated players who wish to administrate and help build our starbound roleplay server.

We need a few mapper who are experienced in designing starbound maps.

The lore of our server is as follows:

Following the effective destructions of the Human and Hylotl homeworlds not too long apart, the stellar nations entered a period of rapid expansion. The decentralization of their governments lead to an increase in internal politics and competition, one nation often seeking aid and coalition from another. This alliance did well to guard them from the Miniknog’s early attempts to test their boundaries. For this time, the Avians kept mostly to themselves, well out of the way of potential conflict.


As time went on, so grew the need for power and resources on a galactic scale. While the Miniknog sat comfortably in their great, mysterious circle of influence near the core of the Milky Way, the other spacefaring races were forced to push outward and away - across the long arms that reached into the darkness. Here, among these lawless stars, corporations and fortune-seekers came to build their wealth away from the influence - and perhaps the laws of the core worlds.


A joint effort was made on the part of many new and old corporations, an initiative to establish civilization among distant worlds. Through promotion and incentives, secondary and tertiary businesses were encouraged to relocate and establish their services in this frontier, with trading ports and affordable accomodations.


While transitioning businesses were vulnerable, opportunistic groups and individuals gave rise to piracy, only moreso when criminal elements from the core worlds heard word and followed suit. This rise in volatile crime, along with the presence of mysterious and chaotic anomalies in this far space posed a great threat to its’ new inhabitants. In response, many new private security firms and mercenary groups cropped up, finding ample - if exceptionally dangerous work for themselves.


Eventually known as “The Rift”, many land grabbing and adventurous hopefuls set out to claim their very own slice of the universe, even if it meant running the risk of being found by raiders or rogue companies. Or in the worst case scenario, stumbling across something far more deadly. Researchers of all kinds often find themselves drawn to The Rift, but few will often tell you why. Only time will tell us if this place is what the rumours say.
