Looking for help with a Starbound series! (Writers, Voice Actors, Editors)

Played quite a lot of Terraria and loved the charm and lighthearted tone of the game. It seems like Starbound (being the spiritual sequel as it were) will continue that trend, adding in even more silliness and character to its gameplay and storyline and I intend to play it just as much as I did Terraria. I wanna be in this project to challenge myself and have fun being silly/serious as the need arises.

3. Hey, my mixing is pretty shitty, and most of my effects suck, but I like this kind of thing. Composing stuff is just a hobby for me but the more I do it the better I will be, hence this app. I'm fairly versatile with genres (just not bloody dubstep), wrote some really quite poor music for OdysseyGamez a while ago, and overall think it will be interesting. I think of my music as salt; bad on it's own, but gives extra flavour when in the background (a nicer way of saying it's boring).

I have always admired the art of Voice Acting and have wanted, for a long time now, to be part of a project like this. I thoroughly enjoyed Terraria and avidly await the release of Starbound and I would love to share my voice (or voices) to bring publicity to the game. I have been part of numerous projects in the past, mainly live-acted in college. I excel in poetry and dramatic readings and I always get a positive response. Put a script in my hands, pick a voice setting, and hear me make some magic! I take my work very seriously, but I am not afraid to have fun with friendly individuals. I am also quite open to criticism! This project sounds like it will be a blast! If it launches, I will do all I can to ensure that it becomes popular.

(As for the current quality, I am between mics.)

i know how to use very well After Effects .I dont have any sample to show you but here in my country i usually make video titles for short films or videos with band logos for concerts, in case you need titles for the series.

Nice music mate.You have talent.An advice for a fellow DAW musician .i see you compose many orchestral songs they are very good but to really show their potential you should get better samples like East West or something add a little reverb and some compression-mastering so your sound doesnt shutter and the difference will be huge.Cheers​

I can't really provide any, unless of course you are stating some similar-like Terraria builds.

3. - State the reasons as to why you would like to be a part of this project.
For a first, it'll be a great way of contributing, since I don't do that very often. Another thing is to be part of a well working team and co-operate and get the process done.

All and all, this will be a fun opportunity.

Mine is breaking anyway, was going to head down to staples or radioshack within the next few days for a better mic. Any suggestions for brand?

 

i do like this and would love to be a part of this, so i am debating whether or not to offer my services as a writer.

 

I believe we have enough writers as is, truth be told.

 

I can recommend Blue Microphones, Samson and Audio Technica as really good brands with a variety of price points and options. I have a Blue "Yeti" and so far its done me proud. Radio Shack might carry the Blue "Snowball" which isn't a bad little mic for voicing.
