Am I the only one expecting to end up on some strange video of 'Starbounds greatest Hoarders'?
As is, I like lifting things from interesting places I travel, things I see. Whether for kicks or to add to a build someday I might do. Maybe.
Seeing that potentially biome themed blueprint'd booty be present for the future intended.. I daresay I may end up being a rampant hoarder overfilling my ship and any makeshift I home with chests chock full of items and loot for.. just in case. It's bad enough I need to swipe signs and chess pieces.. anyone else intend to travel the stars sucking up biomes into a box so to say?

I'm in such a dilemma. I want to keep things the way they are, for the sake of immersion. But at the same time, I want to steal everything that isn't nailed down, and then move onto the stuff that is. Expect to find some of my worlds stripped to the bone, but others left completely pristine.

My interests are wildly different. I'm only interested in killing everything, everywhere. I only stockpile things that do damage/kill or things that help me craft things to stay alive or craft things to help me kill harder and faster.

That said, I need a kill counter mod, anyone knows if such a thing exists? Trying to shoot for 1 million unique kills would be a glorious journey for me.

I guess you could say I'm like Starbound version of Conan the barbarian. Standing on a mountain made of the broken bodies of my enemies is my primary objective :viking:
Also, is there a mod out there that would allow me to keep the bodies of my kills on screen for a few minutes? Just need get a good screenshot at the very least.

I personally just steal the cool items and leave the rest cool being subjective and varying by person.

Reading that made me smile, well met comrade. Tis a shame we cant have a mod to..acquire the heads of Interesting things to put on display, or a trophy room! Or skulls..for a seat of some sort..perhaps even.. a lazy boy. Maybe a throne? Could work on the details.. *cough*

I just take any of the loot there is and run away, but like Jonesy I like to make it immersive so I only loot things when the NPCs aren't looking.

I asked on the IRC about this not too long ago, and, having a counter of kills is completely possible. The one thing I was told still wasn't added to the "tracking" list, was the amount of blocks or items you've placed down. Tracking PVP kills and PVE kills can be achieved. I believe once someone figures out how to get to the number, adding a counter, some sort of quest and a prize item will be easy.

Well I for one, know I'm going to convert an entire planet into a storage world once the final universe wipe is done.

I'm going to do something similar as well.

After that I'll try to get all the equipment possible, to store it there.

I am a packrat, and lots of stuff will end up on my ship; mainly building materials. I don't really destroy everything I come across, but I do take quite a bit. I usually end up patching up the area I took from with something else or adding onto it. In a way to make amends with the locals.

I do that because I want to build a Universe in which I can go to planets and reminisce in what I have built when I decide to go to one I have built on with another character. So I guess in a way I am an organized hoarder that respects. Even down to where I put the materials on the ship.

Also trying to find that ideal place to call home takes a while, so that is a lot of planets with goodies that end up on the ship. :)

I take a little of everything and store a little of everything. I loves to build, so's I need a lot of stuff to build with.

Some villages/dungeons I strip down almost completely, some are left pristine (though I will rifle through every damn storage device I see).

It's going to present an storage issue eventually. If I can keep my current homeworld and transfer it into the "final" build, I'm gonna need to expand my stuff-storage, especially the building materials room, which is gonna require some reworking of my underground rail and suchlike.

As far as function goes, yeah, I COULD stack smaller containers so I could hold even more (their smaller horizontal footprint would help too)... but man I like the look of those lockers more than the look of stacked crates. If we had a non-bloodstained version of that 3x4 prison locker, that'd be perfect. (I use those primarily for weapon storage. Bloodstains there make sense.)

I love the design but as it were anything but the ships container holds 16 spots, chests and the little things like chests are storagewise the best for using more space. NOW! if they changed the Bigger things to hold More stuff that would be awesome! Cause I really do like how most of the sotrage looks but..16 is not so much after a while..especially when you go planet raiding from Alpha to Sector X.

I definitely agree that there should be larger-capacity storage items. Let the chests, crates, cabinets, desks, endtables and the like stay at 16, but bump up the big, character-sized ones like bookshelves and large lockers to 25 (5x5).
