As the universe is practically infinite, it can happen that when you are exploring, you find some cool planet with a dungeon / town / other stuff. Then when you go on exploring the rest of the universe you could forget where this system is, and cant go back

It would be cool to have the ability to :

    1. At the star system make an entry (which can be seen in the starmap as a flag or something) briefly describing the contents of the planet (just like custome notes on the map in many rpg games.
    2. Have a journal page or something, or an entry log in the starmap, with the coordinates of planets previously visited

    Cheers :D

You are one of the many people along with myself who have been wanting this so badly.

That isn't too bad of an idea, assuming you get to choose which ones you log into your journal.

Of course I would imagine that the saving of this would possibly go into a separate file of sorts, if not in the player file.

There obviously should be a limit to the brief description, as it is suppose to be brief not a life history. lol

Something simple and functional is best no matter how the devs would go about it, if/when they decide to add something like this. :D

This is the one thing I keep thinking I'd like to see added. Possibly some sort of bookmarking system with a short character limit description allowance maybe?

I quite like the idea of flags on the map itself - that way even if you visited a system some time ago, if you're looking at the right section of map you'll have a visual reminder that you already found something of interest in the area.
