So basically i got bored, took the lizard screenshot and used it for an armor set. i think it didnt turn out that bad, considering that the only pixel art i did before was my minecraft skin. constructive critism appreciated (PS: just for clarification: i only made the armor; the helmet and the character template were made by the starbound team) edit: slightly updated

Wow, damn cool, could need a little more decorative elements on the chest or so, but overall this would fit very good in the actual game.
thanks for your feedback! i slightly updated the picture. i changed the details of the male breast plate a bit and i changed the female version to look a little more different in comparision to the male version...
I like it. You should work on some others and see what else you can come up with. It would be awesome to have some custom armor in game that was developed from the community.
