Anyone have any suggestions for quickly farming living root for nanowrap bandages? Other than just camping biomes with nutmidges and other creatures that drop living root, I can't think of a way.

Find a Giant Flower sub-biome. And just travel across it back and forth, commonly giant turnip looking creatures spawn as well as mini-versions.

Killing them uncommonly drops living root.

In addition, using a bow will increase the drop rate dramatically, if you really are desperate for them.

Wait bows don't just increase meat and leather drop rates?!
Dang, this is good to know.

I will try the bow method I have the turnips on my starter planet, so hopefully it won't be too much of a chore to get the living root. Kind of sad they make getting a nice high tier healing item rely on rng to some degree. Can you buy the nanowrap bandages anywhere?

Not exactly, but on Fiery Stars they become incredibly common to come across in containers as well as traders on said stars.

gleaps (the small orange things that jump towards you on the starter planet) drop them, and they appear by the numbers on lush planets or biomes.

A good way to get living root is to probally walk around your starter planet with a tungsten bow or Compound and hunt a few times.
