I feel that whole pixel scaling thing is kinda of jarring. It's seems to take away from art cohesion. I will say this opinion is only based on a screenshot and when it's all moving it might be different.

I guess I'm the only one who doesn't hate the scaling. I think it makes the mobs more visible, which for me is good. Only problem is that it makes the player look badly drawn :/

Personally, I don't see anything wrong with the scaling. Besides, we won't notice the pixels as much when the sprites are moving; the screenshot can't portray that.

No problem with the scaling, unless it's like 10 times larger monsters with massive pixels ;d

It clashes somewhat, but if it means there will be more monster variety then I don't mind. Running into a group of aliens with little baby versions running around is more interesting to me than herds where everything is the same size.

Scaling looks fine to me, and I agree that the added variety is welcome.

The increased variety allowable by scaling is a great thing in my book, down with the scaling haters!

Aw, look at them, they're so precious!

  14. Like I said before, I think the outline on them seems a little heavy for some reason but, I wanted to add that I like the scaling a ton! Having little monsters roaming around will add so much to the possibilities.

Why is it that every comment about the scaling was bad until I decided to say that I liked it -.-

Maiq knows many things. Mind control appears to be one of them.

So, what do you guys think about Tiy's comment on this pic? Someone asked why the "pixels are smaller". Tiy stated that they were experimenting with scaling.

Could this mean that our avatars might have more detail post-release? :D
