Awesome games don't come out of nowhere. It takes hard work, dedication, awesomeness, etc. to make a game like this.

 

I know I just get Impatcient like take minecraft for example sometimes I get impatient for a Update to come out...

I could Imagine The gods of Aether being a very advanced race from I dunno maybe a diffrent galaxy or what so ever... but I can imgagine them that they to had to flee their homeplanet ust to escape something tragic like a low technological but deadly race over powered them, a Hyper star was about to go off any Send deadly gamma rays across that certain galaxy... THERES MANY Guesses to who they are...

 

Or you could RP that the Starbound Universe has divine beings who aren't just a race, it all depends on what best fits your play-style.

I don't think i'm likely to play an Ape or Apex. Hmm... It would figure if an Apex was the only type of Ape ya CAN play... I wonder if this can be Clarified by the Devs? Are we now up 2 Clarified Races & 2 Unclarified Races... (Clarified: Avian, Apex. Unclarified: Human, Ape.) or are we up 2 Clarified Races & 1 Unclarified Race...? (Clarified: Avian, Apex. Unclarified: Human.) Now that I think of it... All (Apes?) i've seen have been comparable in size to Humans... but what if they're normally much bigger, stronger, & bulkier in build...?

 

There are definitely going to be humans. The fact that the Apex are extremely similar in both looks and their name makes me think that the Apex will be replacing Apes.

 

I dunno about 'replacing'... I was wondering if Apex is gonna be the Ape Race's Official Race Name, or if the Apex & 'Apes' are 2 different playable races.

 

Well, the Apex are basically apes with a backstory.

 

I would wait until all the races come out until I decide which one I'm going to play

 

Don't forget, ya can have more than one Character. That means ya can plan Characters from Races currently revealed &/or Player Suggested Races, & if we fall in love with a future Revealed Race, we don't have to choose between them... we can just build Multiple Characters!

 

Ill probably play as an Avian as i like the Aztec-like apppearances Unless they come with a more awesome looking playable race (robots any1?)
