Oh, I see It kinda looked like he was cutting the tree. Now it looks like he's threatening that mushroom lol

 

I wonder if the ice on top of the snow is going to be meltable. And if it is, will water, say, pour down the mountain from where you are melting the ice? And if left alone, will it refreeze? Provided that the water settles somewhere where it's still in a cold biome. And now that I'm thinking about it, would water freeze in the desert during the night since it can get to below freezing temperatures?

 

does water freeze in the night, if nobody sees it until after it melts again?

 

About the tammed monsters.
I would be nice you could capture a boss, but it would be realy hard and you needed freinds helping.
And then use it to kill everything in sight!

 

That has always been one of my favourite screenies. Only problem is, I'm fairly sure its just concept art.. I could be wrong.. Could a Dev possibly clear that up? It just seems when this was released all the features on the screenie hadn't been implemented.

the only think that might not be implemented on the final game that is shown in the screenshot is the UI, since it's the "feature" that changes the most, but the ground is likely to be implemented that way, not exactly that way because the might have changed the ground generation code after that screen

EDIT:
only saw the snowman on the left side of the screen now, i wonder if he throws snowballs at the players as his attack animation

what if with each character you make
or every time you load up Starbound
the UI randomly-generates from different components?z
on one hand : annoying
on the other hand : kind of neat usage of random-generation.

Edit: That sounds so good. I love me some atmosphere, windy sound effects when it's windy etc. The first time I played Skyrim I stood in a blizzard for about 30mins taking in its beauty. Atmosphere man. That's where it's at.

Tiy doesn't say anything about him. I guess that joke is a little too 'inside' to work on a forum.

Eg. 3 guys in a room, Tiy, Bartwe and myself. Bartwe does something good, I say:

"I don't care what Tiy says about you, your a Legend."

Both Tiy and Bartwe overhear this and proceed to laugh because it implies Tiy has something to say behind Bartwe's back (Even though he doesn't..).

Jeez writing that made me realize why no one found it funny so yeah.

 

Tiy stole Bartwe's hamster! :O
