What would be a great idea a huge goddamn gamemode where everything goes i will continue this in suggestions...

Since my last visit in this thread (or the forums for that matter), a lot has been announced, I guess.

BUT, you should really point out those things we all know from Twitter:
- 10.000+ particles with no framerate drop
- easy server access, friends list, good chat and voice support (unless those are being worked on, rather than already done)
- rain


I'm probably just blind and not seeing those already on the list, but meh, whatever.
Better safe than sorry.

They already have confirmed something like this, calling it "Director Mode".

The Rain is confirmed via screenshot, the particles and server stuff will probably change a lot before it is fully and officially in-game.

So there is absolutely no item durability system at all? :/

 

Well I think for a game as massive as this it might be daunting to have your valuable tool made out of rare materials break and be stuck on a planet that is only mine-able with that tool. Not to mention having to travel half across the galaxy looking for more rare materials.

I'm assuming there is going to be a LOT of things in the tech tree to craft given the vast amount of valuable materials available among the millions of explore-able planets.

 

Maybe instead of actually "Breaking" the item when it gets broken, The effectiveness could just be reduced, like a Blade gets dulled after a while, or batteries need to be replaced, ect. Just an idea.

 

Nah, most people wouldn't like it since it will waste so much time.

 

i hate item duration.
if i make an item i want it to last forever.
