Great thread! I like it so much I check it at least 10 times a day.

Oh, I emailed a couple questions to the devs yesterday in the evening and got an answer from Tiy today in the morning (that's fast ). Here we go:

• There probably will be planets that require special equipment to survive on (due to lack of atmosphere, extreme temperatures, etc).
• The space station will have some "fun rooms", so you can chill out when you are not exploring.
• The devs seem to like Kane's multiplayer suggestions.

I have a good feeling about this.

Hooo hoo hoooo.... "fun" rooms.

Finally glad that we know the devs care about our server options and security. Hope we won't have to switch to a third party software for those server customisation options.

 

Starbound will have dungeons! Absolutely no details were given, but this:

I'm so excited for everything this game has to offer! Even the addition of cats has me excited to see the possibilities of other Earth-sentient animals. That would be really cool if you could combine DNA from other species with a cat's DNA to make it into a fusion-type of that monster but in cat form. Or make some type of simple animal be capable of having merged DNA effects on it. Like Eevee from Pokemon and all of it's different forms from different conditions being met.

 

That would be awesome if you could inject dna or something into certain creatures to make them change to different types like Eevee.
