Tiy's humour aside, the game is in C++ (as listed on the FAQ page) using SDL 1.2.

Does anyone else get the feeling, just by his wording, that even the races planets homeworld will be destroyed? As in no matter who you pick human/ape/gigantic race of sentient walking wine bottles,
your homeworld will be destroyed? If so I think we found a major plot point. Someone is destroying worlds, who is it? But we pretty much knew that anyways.

 

Well yeaa.. It's destroyed by an 'unknown enemy' so I think that's sort of the point. There is a story to the game (unlike Terraria) and that's the beginning of it

 

well, as far as i know no one said it is an enemy, it jus is being destroyed, maybe a natural destruction maybe the planet went lead to destruction like we are doing with ours, maybe a meteorite, but it also can be an alien rece thar made it, until they reveal some more specific things on this it could be everithing we could imagine.
P if im wrong an they specified it, please tell me ^^

 

Maybe... it's a different thing *almost* every time? Like... 1 out of 20 possible scenarios!

THAT would be cool I think.

----if only they had done that to terraria. That one thing there adding to the game is the best thing they could posibly do it would make the game litterally immortal.

Remember that it's going we're have an underlying story too. We might find out about why we've lost our homeworld, maybe leading into a galactic conspiracy --
Though we can only guess what they're going to do with that.

 

Probably a intergalactic highway that needed to be built...

It's been so long since the last update to this thread ;_;

 

It's been one week since the last main page update and a few days more since the last Dev Q&A. Lets hope that the team is hard at work.

 

There haven't been many announcements lately. :[ No worries though. They have fallen into a 'Drop big amounts of info at once" mode lately. So its only a matter of time before our next 'injection'.
