  1. Blue

    Blue Former Staff

I decided to color the most recent info and the info added before it differently for the sake of those who check this daily.

  2. Kewlan

    Kewlan Star Wrangler

Can you make the green a bit darker? I can hardly see any difference on my screen.
    And what is "equalize"?

  3. Madmarlon

    GUYS A SHOCKING RELEVATION!

Done, and also changed yellow to a softer more easy on the eyes Light Blue.

  6. Iyskreem

For water to equalize just means that it will flatten out across the container giving even pressure, like it does IRL.

And when it says that water will have pressure, do you think water pressure will have the ability to destroy containers? That's a lot of detail to put into the materials, but it would be a really neat challenge for the logistics of water storage.

Are you sure you didn't do it just to make something blue? :p

  8. Blue

    Blue Former Staff

Well I tried Red, it was too hard on the eyes. But I have no qualms about it being Blue... :p

  9. Vargus

    Vargus Big Damn Hero

haha. well it looks good in Blue regardless.

  10. Supersonic

    Supersonic Void-Bound Voyager

All this talk of pressurising/compressing the water in a cube and having it explode is cool, but is it realistic? I'm pretty sure water can't be compressed IRL.

  11. Kjkillercom

    Kjkillercom Pangalactic Porcupine

It can. The water that goes to your house is highly pressurized. If it wasn't it would never make it to all of the homes in the city.
Anything can be compressed with enough pressure.

I believe underground springs flow using pressure, as well as any kind of water that is heated in such things as... hotsprings etc.
Not to mention, when you use a Manual Pump to get water out of a well.
But I would guess the main purpose of the pressure funtion is to work with other forms of liquid... like lava eruptions.

Volcanoes would be a good example of using this mechanic. Or even making artificial tsunami's. Oh the possibilities...

  16. DarkDXZ

    DarkDXZ Phantasmal Quasar

    Holy balls...
Well, at least I'm sure I will be able to play Starbound (got a new PC today, will go live tomorrow), but I won't be quite able to check lowspec-y-ness of Starbound.

    Oh wells.
    (•_•)
Also, those water physics sound so bloody awesome and they for sure will...

If it would do any damage to NPC's, I would probably build one, yes! =D

  20. Kjkillercom

Talk about an awesome turret to have at your main base! or even any forward bases! Sure would beat the old lava pits of Terraria, even though those were pretty darn effective. lol
