List of Announced Game Information (Retired due to release)

I suppose you could say this is "more recent" information about the status of the beta:

 

IF I won't get a new PC this Easter (waiting since Christmas), I think it would be reasonable to let me check Starbound on my PC...
It is a decade-old rig, but that's the point - to see how low-spec the game is. Because I know there are many people out there that have to lurk on those low-spec PC games and Starbound would certainly be a direct hit.

That's part of what a Beta could do. Also, from the FAQ:

 

The "Fog of War" I was talking about is called "Foreground Layer", when building/caves doesn't have opening, background layer copies as foreground to hide interiors of the cave or building. Later on JermEx told me that Tiy "experiments with this / discusses this"...

 

I am so freaking excited for this game! I had an idea similar to this awhile ago but I am not a coder by any stretch of the imagination. I am so glad this is in the works

 

Just wanted to give props to Blue for making a great list like this, all the good juicy info in one convenient place! Really a good idea and well maintained too!
