List of Announced Game Information (Retired due to release)

As the road-map has just been released, and this list has some defunct info as far as I can tell... I'm taking some time to update this.

id like to ask can i make new game just for me and my friends or are we forced either on pre determined servers & single player?
like in terraria you can make game and invite friends to it?

 

If you mean, do you have to play multi-player on Chucklefish run servers??? No. From whats been stated, you start a server yourself and your friends connect to you.

 

thanks ill still be playing on the "real servers" if there will be any but id like to have adventure just for me and my friend too ^^

 

That sure was a lot of information on that road map. I was under the impression people had posted some new information pages ago that weren't added to the OP. Well, what ever the case Blue sure has his hands full.

 

But people will still be able to run dedicated servers right?

Honestly, this is a very good question. The forums are loaded with spoilers!

 

Yup, I just figured it would be counter-intuitive to come to the forums at all when things are announced often, and pictures and info from the devs/IRC/streams, etc. are posted often enough - all of which would spoil the "newness" he wants. I'm super boggled, based off of what he said, why he would even visit here once... even the newsletter would spoil things for him it would seem.

 

To interact with a community of a game I want to play when it comes out.

 

Pretty much this for me. I like reading about the things that might be in the game, but I do what i can to avoid screenshots and stuff after watching the lighting demo.

 

Then why come to one of the most spoiler filled threads? There are other parts of the fora you can visit that are far less likely to spoil anything. Its like saying you don't want to get burned but you shove your hand in the fire anyways.

 

Yeah... uh... this is the very thread you shouldn't be around if you refuse to see any kind of spoilers.
