not that I want to generalize but there's so much disapproval for these respawn animations that I don't understand

 

OH I LOVE the first one. I think it is fantastic! Especially the way it reminds me of Fifth Element. I don't like the bird one specifically because it seems to look a cohesiveness with the Human version. Humans didn't start off as a baby and grow up, yet essentially that is what happens with the Avians. Additionally it seems kind of silly and out of place that cloning is done by some sort of rapid aging process. Not to mention from a scientific standpoint it has all kinds of trouble.

In the Human version it is probable or at least possible that the machine is just fabricating the body as a perfect copy of the way it was when it died. This would include implants, scars, markings, tattoos, etc...

Avian version this is not the case. Any markings that came about after birth including scars, tattoos, etc... would not exist on the new avian. Additionally a number of environmental factors have an impact on the growth and development of organisms. This rapid aging process would not have any of the same environmental factors as the original avian either. I would much prefer a similar cloning process for avians. Maybe not in a chamber or in the same order, but a cloning process just the same. They can come out of a wickerbasket orb for all I care, I just don't like the look of them starting as a chick. Egg shaped full sized pods would be better IMO.

I can understand where Hoddmimir is coming from, but I think it's best just not to look so deeply into the cloning process. That's a good way to make yourself go crazy.

 

It isn't even really the science of it. I'd prefer if all the races were a relatively similar cloning process.

 

Well, Avians are religious and aren't very crazy about technology, so having Avians be cloned wouldn't really fit either.

 

Religious clones are doable. Teleport the body back home... chant over it... revive it. Avian Gods give life!!!! YAY!!!!

 

Yeah I figured it wasn't the science bugging you, but really I don't think you should think too much about this sorta stuff, besides when we finally get around to playing the game it'll be such a small thing compared to the rest of the game.

I'm a stickler for consistency too but I think this suits the Avians alright, I don't think it's rapid aging, I think it's more like a rapid evolution

 

That would be reviving, not cloning. And how would it get teleported back home? What if you're in the far reaches of the universe in an uncharted area and some gigantic sea monster eats you?

 

anyone remember from Star Wars when the Kamino Clones were revealed to undergo flash-training to counteract the fact that rapid growth counteracts their ability to gain experience?
Basically an Army Raising Deus Ex Machina.
lets just assume that every cloning/respawn method the devs put forth works because they say so.
There is still room for improvement, and quite frankly the problems you point out are non existent.

Avians are basically religious zealots throughout, except for a few smart ones and I'm assuming there are several omni-racial respawn patterns you can unlock.
What does that mean? It means that of course you'd be reborn as a child if you are a devout Avian. Such is the glory of the feathered lord.

If you really want to get mad at something, get mad at the fact that some Mario Kart handbooks promoted screen-peaking.

 

I think that only humans (and maybe the Apex as well) will have cloning, while the other races will have their own unique way.

I wanna see the Florian respawn now! Also the Robot one.

 

i think robot will probably have a "quick factory body building" respawning animation. kinda like human but you see arms putting pieces in place till you get the full robot body

 

But...yellow chick? Lika a chicken? Do adult Avians looks like chickens? Humans cloning animation looks fantastic! But this one...

 

I do agree with that the Human cloning is way better than the Avian one; Humans don't start as a baby again and become an adult before our eyes, not a big fan of the fact that the Avians do this. But, I agree even more with what was said also...that cloning is such a small thing, like Combine_Kegan said:

 

Sure thing! Not this, nor other little details will mess up this game. But I'm sure devs show us those things to get feedback. So here is my feedback
