Liquids (water, lava, poison, etc)

Can you mine liquids? Can you get rid of liquids?

I only ask because there are some water guns, lava guns, and poison guns over in the mod section, but what happens when you want to modify what you put out?

 

No, you can't mine them.
Ugh yeah, you can put gravel/sand/other blocks over them.

Modify what you put out? Hhhmm? What?

 

I don't think there is a way to mine them.

 

Let's take the water gun mod (here).
You are spraying out water everywhere or you decide you don't like what you have created. How do you get rid of the water?

 

You'd have to ask the guy who made the mod. Only way to get rid of it is to put blocks over it or break the back wall it's on top of.

 

There's two ways to get rid of liquids. You either place a block on them which magically gains the ability to absorb water/poison/lava or, if you're near the surface, mine out the background behind the liquids.

You can place dirt over them, and the dirt will remove the liquid. Afterwards, you can just mine out the dirt.

 

I think this does the opposite of what I wanted, but a cool mod non-the-less.

Liquid Extractor is a confusing name for something that ADD liquids heh
