Spacedino submitted a new mod: Liquid Tanks - Storage specifically for liquids Read more about this mod...
Hi, Thanks for this nice mod. Ideas for expansion: - Large tank with only one slot, for decoration purposes. - Tank top as a platform, so we can step on it/add a tank on it. - Support for Frackin' Universe, to have the right colors for its liquids.
It will store the liquids but does not show the correct graphics. In theory. I haven't tested the mod compatability yet, so please tell me if you encounter any problems.
nice, love it great expansion of container from Irrigator if you're interested, spigot mod has list of mod liquid name/ids would fix any potential issues with line 153 (world.spawnliquid where nameToID fails) going to test this myself momentarily
What is this you are talking about here? Could you provide a link please? Hmm you're right, good spotting. I better put a fix in there soon-ishtm
doh had a big reply typed out, forgot to hit post basically boiled down to "spawnliquid may return an ignorable 'false' if it can't actually spawn" several other world functions are like that (placeMaterial, placeObject etc)
I'm wondering if you and the ones who did the Frackin Universe mod could work on a type of add-on for FU with these. Cause the liquids and gasses that is added via FU shows up as water in the tanks. Like the Shadow Gas, once stored inside a tank the tank shows it's holding water. Aside from that it's a great mod to store the liquid instead of being inside a chest.[which to me is odd seeing that lava can be stored inside a chest without burning or melting it]
It is perfectly doable for me to add compatabillity, even without direct help from the FU creators. The problem is just that... i work really really slowly
I'm wondering will you/are you able to update this mod for the current stable version? Cause I like this mod a great deal and also it'll complete my F.U.[Frackin Universe] Lab and also free up some chest space.
Well it's not that I haven't tried cause I thought it wouldn't work with the recent update to the game. I'll try now.
It is. I use the largest tank and hookup the pipe in the back of at mid point and the water drains. Although I never really filled up the large tank with 56,000 units of water, but knowing where an ocean planet is helps.
