Hey moderators, if this is in the wrong spot please move it. Was unsure where it should go.

Just want to tell all gamers out there on Linux that the New Upbeat Giraffe has a dependency of libicu48, which on ubuntu can be installed by running:
    Code:
    sudo apt-get install libicu48
Just a heads up for all Linux Starbound players.
    Cheers

Too late, I already uninstalled and am now reinstalling :p

I'll add Fedora instructions once downloading is done.

    -- EDIT --

WOW, the damage is bigger than I thought. Still working on getting it up and running...

    -- EDIT 2 --

OKAY. That was unpleasant, but tolerable.

    Step 1:

Install the appropriate qt5-qtwebkit package for your platform.

    Code:
    sudo yum install qt5-qtwebkit.i686
    sudo yum install qt5-qtwebkit.x86_64
    Step 2:

Remove the Qt5 libraries that CF provides in the download.

    Code:
     rm ~/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/Starbound/linux*/libQt*.so.5
Starbound should now run, assuming the package installed properly.

I've also discovered that Ubuntu 14.04's QT5 libraries are a little out of date for this version of starbound :( by one version.

If anyone has instructions on how to update qt5 libraries let us know! I myself am switching back to Debian Testing.
