excluding sources created by the player themselves, is it possible to only render light sources that actually reach the player? I'm wanting to know because it doesn't make sense to me that my player can see clean through a wall only because its lit up on the other side
I think I replied to a very similar thread a long time ago. But my reply was mostly a brain storming exercise. In reality it wouldn't be easy at all, nor practical.
