Lets talk building.

I thought it might a fun to have a thread just talking about the possibilities of building. What we know, what we hope, what we expect, what we want to build. You know just general geeking out. Lets get at it then.

I am expecting things to still work a lot like teraria. You know where you can collect a verity of blocks and feature then place them how you want to build your uber cool house/bunker/crystal palisade. Just all themed around space.

Something that kind of want to see is a way to share buildings. Like after you finish building something cool, you drag and drop it into a clip board letting you share it or paste it over and over.

 

What I want to buil-...

Oh that's an easy one.

I WANT TO TAKE OVER A PLANET, AND MAKE IT A PARKING STRUCTURE PLANET.

Or, the alternitive, MAKE A HUGE RACCOON STATUE.

 

It would be neat to have a sort of 'share blueprints' option. On regard to making things, I look forward to making a massive half-underground city. Like it were in a crater with a massive pressurized dome over it.

 

What sort of tools will the game feature?

Standard axe/pickaxe from Terraria or are we getting a space twist?

 

As long theres still building like terraria, I dont really care about terraria going bye bye

 

Some of the images show what looks like a auger. I assume we will be using drills for digging.

That's pretty cool. I guess thinking axes etc was a bit primitive compared to the possible options they could have gone for.

Hamdraxes for all?

 

Yep they can totally do all kinds of cool building tools. Like nano bots. (I haven't see nanobots. It's just an example of tools they could add.)

 

I would like to build a space station. In space. And an underground bunker. Underground.

 

I want to turn my planet into the Death Star...

 

Ima build a giant peni... i mean... a giant Hotel for all my npc's to live in and a humble abode for myself to live in.

id like to build a space station underground and an underground bunker in space

 

I'm going to build something restrained, something that's in harmony with the nature and doesn't totally ruin the landscape.

 

You mean something like a big flower made of some color bricks or a big tree where you can explore or just put it for scenery
