Let's talk about birds.

My friend called em a AC1-BIRDIE.

 

So its like trying to find a mini-boss, but with passive birds?

 

Apparently, but iv found no mini bosses ( ) but found alot of passive birds before the patch, now there more rare and i find a few here and there... i hope the spawning is bugged, as i want more of them lol

Bird corpses do nasty damage when falling from sky too. bad stuff.

 

Yeah I found firing breathing death birds of doom kind of challenging. Those little suckers tend to come out of nowhere and until you can make the iron bow they are really difficult to deal with.

I've also noticed this game is full of one shotting from both sides. Weapons do so much damage, and enemies do so much damage.

 

hehe Birds went from "Hey, maybe I should just drop a little projectile a him... yeah, let's do this" to "TARGET ACQUIRED - SEEK AND DESTROY!!!!!!!"

Brief update on Birdpocalypse. I finally got around to summoning the Penguin UFO after this morning's update. Right as it was spawning, two MurderBirds™ showed up.

I took down the UFO while trying to kill the birds.

EDIT: It's too bad the pokemon station isn't available until Delta. I'd just capture birds and use them to do my dirty work.

 

The birds already have the best moves in the game like.. death laser, death electric ball, death machine gun and my favorite, death exploding rocks of death

 

I've been attacked by a crow in real life, and geese are just mean, crabby, and will charge you if you get too close. And they make terrible hissing noises. Come to think of it, that might make a good noise for the birds in this game.

This game is like a remake of http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-cXTR_FUBk.../jBxvTMiRBsQ/s1600/Poster+-+Birds,+The_02.jpg now that they are hyper aggressive.

 

I hate birds. I just hate them birds.

 

Flying snipers. I never see them aggro until a projectile is flying at me from off screen while I am climbing up or down a hill.

... and if it is a large hill and the knock back is strong enough, boom.. headshot. Well, splat goes the character anyway.

 

Birds aren't SOOO bad once you get out and start fighting them. Learn their habits. They still suck, and they're devastating in groups of 2 or more, but a single bird remains a decent fight as long as you're using correct (read: not OP ones) weapons.

 

personally i like the new "panic" mode a flock of birds brings to the adventure of a planet. nothing a few well aimed arrows cant sort out after u get to relative safety

 

Or, you could just do what my friend who hosts our private server did, and get so pissed at not being able to farm or do other business that he spent hours constructing an overly elaborate series of towers, bunkers, tunnels, terrain traps, and small shelters extending about a game day's walk in either direction of the beam-in location.

I logged in this afternoon to see the answer to "what if the Viet Cong built Minas Tirith?".
