Ok, figured it was about time to post my ship now that its (mostly) finished.
I've used a mod that changed the layout of some of the ship floors and walls. Just an FYI.

 

hey just wondering what blocks you used for the supports between rooms and sections in rooms that look kinda like concrete but im not quite sure because i tried to replicate the starting room but the snow seems to cover up concrete

 

I think it is Asphalt.

The back wall does look like snow, but it could also be Ash Blocks.

Looks like somone else likes the same headpiece... I got that thing on at least 2 characters (Apex and Human).

Nothing special. I'm a bit lazy when it comes to the ship, as I prefer to live on a planet. Still, an archaeologist need a ship which fits. So, here it is.



As I don't need that much space, it's only the 5th tier, not the last one. It has everything I need: a biotop for food, a machine room and my private quarter.



The center of the ship? A museum, that's for sure! And many things in the rooms nearby, full with stolen... with precious things I found and brought into a museum. MY museum.

Having a nice dining/conference room with a cup of tea is mandatory for every serious scientist.



I admit, I'm not that happy with the bridge section; however, as I can't change the background, I didn't change a lot and made it the section for my pet.

 

Thats actually exactly how I thought your ship would be... except I figured it would be an Avian.

 

Well, as you may guess, my RPG-Character likes... to visit the AVians. She really is fascinated by that culture. I won't post that picture again, as I did it a lot

 

I would say that that'sss a nice ssship you got there... Ssshame if something happened to it... Like, a museum raid or something... Maybe Indiana Jones taking the stuff, claiming that it belonged in a porper museum.

I don't know what it is called, I think it is the human steel armour helmet. It looks like a Comset with a HUD.

Okay so after some disappointment at how horrible the novakid train is for ship customization, I rolled a character just so I could have a ship I enjoy being inside of.. one I can actually remodel. So far, I'm actually pretty proud of how it's turning out and I may post the finished product. As such, I wanted to ask what the best way to post said screenshot would be. What is everyone using that allows for view of the entire ship like that?

Also, I see what looks to be un-occipied mechs in some people's shots.. is this something I can spawn in with admin? Would be perfect for a certain spot in my ship.

It's still a WIP, but...

 

I'll probably never finish this, so here goes nothing;



Bridge (with navigational biocomputer) and control room (which I never quite finished). I named my bridge cat Coke since he eats nothing but stimulants of questionable origin.


Another shot of the teleporter bay, freezer, and infirmary, along with the kitchen, mess hall, laboratory, and security room,


The brig and mostly-complete cargo bay. The upper rooms would have been the crew quarters (right) and captain's quarters (left), and the large back room would be engineering, but I ran completely out of ideas and I've been too busy modding.

EDIT: I should add that I picked up all of this stuff during my venturing for quest items during my Nightly playthrough; none of this is admin'd in.
