I have the right idea, but unfortunately am not sure where to place the blocks to make this look right...
Floran desssign own ssship. Very comfy, remind Floran of home. Sssadly, Floran cannot find room to hang pelt of prey up. (Translation: I can, right under the chime, but it looks ugly)
Based on the default Avian ship of course. Filled with furniture and colorful banners Fallwing has collected on his travels. Perhaps the ship was refitted by humans once? That would explain the human kitchen and bathroom.
Wow, that looks amazing! And yeah, ship probably stopped to get refueled/upgraded and some humans thought it needed a change in decor
My first try at designing something in starbound. I am far from an artist, but I enjoyed building it. I used everything from vanilla starbound, with the assistance of Creative Mode.
My florian's ship, mostly loaded with plundered treasures, and lots of literature. Wordssss, more fun.
Here is just one of the 64 mega blocks on my uber ship. Here you can see 10 levels of farming within the one mega block. I used the farming bot mod to automatically plant and harvest the crops for me. Which is a must on such a HUGE ship.
Here is the next section with different crops. Still need at least a 3rd section like this to get all the types of crops on my ship. Luckily that would take up only 3 megablocks out of 64 for farming. @MarcusDemonicus Well each segment is 11x11 blocks and then each "megablock" is 11x11 and then the ship is 8x8 megablocks. So yeah its around 968x968 blocks. I also think the max ship is like 1000x1000 so there is wiggle room for me to add exterior stuff. And no I don't have much lag at all. Note you can download my empty grid ship file here. Please rate up if you do since it doesn't get may votes.
And here is yet a 3rd farm megablock on my ubership. I still have not gotten all the types yet. I think one more after this will be my limit and if I need anymore I will just split up the rows in half.
wow. That thing is monstrous! Mine is MAYBE a quarter of that size, and I have 96 varieties of plants in my garden lol!
Holy wow, that was an unexpected adventure. Bored of my hunt for Derricks, I decided to start cleaning up my ship. The problem was obvious: I had way too much stuff thrown everywhere. Trying to re-organize things just for the sake of moving them was becoming a chore. Here's the before: It doesn't look too bad, but trust me: every single chest (and the wall storage) was filled to the brim, with no organization at all. My goal was to condense things, maybe throw out a few items that I hoarded in the beginning that I now see are common as hell, and leave enough room for me to create new crafting stations that can fit on my ship itself (prior to this, I was warping to my home planet every single time I needed to craft something). So, I got started. I cleared out the doors I installed next to the cockpit and placed some chests. I filled them with my spare armor and all of my ore and bars. Then I went to destroy the bits of platform above where the arcade machine is in the above pic. And that's where it started. My hand slipped, and all four of those Toxic Chests burst. My floor was completely covered with items. Now, I had died before and taken over an hour to reclaim my equipment, so I wasn't worried. In fact, I said "screw it" and popped the three normal chests in the upper left and the three tech chests, figuring that I could just pic stuff up as I went. As I was organizing, though, I realized something - the stuff I was standing in was thinning out awfully fast. I looked to the floor on the left, and lo and behold, some items began to simply disappear. Normally, I'd have panicked, but I was able to quickly realize, and accept, my fate. But you know what? Throwing away some of these items was going to be one of the most difficult things I had ever done. In a way, this was a blessing. Now, the stuff was gone, forever. I had no say in the matter. Sighing, I pressed on. I placed a chest next to the captain's chair filled with all of my fuel, and one below it where I put my pets. I made a chest for spare armor, and one next to it for vanity items. One for ore, one for bars, one for miscellaneous crafting goods. I placed a fridge for edible food and two chests for seeds, as well as plopped down a vending machine for completed recipes. I ignored the tragedy that had taken place and just threw what I had remaining together in a neat, organized fashion. Then I made new crafting stations, chose the smallest bed that I could find, and threw together every resource that I could ever need. I left my adorable little potato farm alone. Finally, after all of that hard work and heartache... Meet my new ship.
my floran's ship. haven't played her in a while, but her ship's got a mix of storage and function (crafting tables/refinery) alongside some aesthetic stuff.
