Server Discussion Let's Build a City Together!

My boyfriend and I are loving Starbound! We were thinking it'd be super fun to make a busting metropolis with a bunch of other like minded people. The idea would be to just make a huge, expansive city across the planet.
Here are some of our ideas:

* Make your own home in the city, be it castle, mansion, humble home, a slum house, apartments, etc.
* Set up your own store/trade. Looking for that last recipe? Find someone who has it! RP your own blacksmith shop, bakery, library.
* Get to know your neighbors and go exploring with them!

You probably want to make this information private. With no official way to prevent griefers, posting server info in the open can be a problem.

Hey guys! We had our first griefer today and so I have added a password. If you were on the server before, PM me with your in-game starbound name and i'll hook you up. If you want to join us, PM me, or drop by the stream, so we can chat a bit before giving you the password (to make sure you're not a douchebag).

 

The server was full when I tried to join. I replied to our original PM requesting the PW

 

Had our second griefer today! Haha, can't wait for admin powers. Unfortunately I rent the server so I cannot mod it! New password. PM me your name if you were playing on the server, and what you were building! You can also join the stream and talk to me. I am happy to give you my steam name as well for easier communication.

 

Hey, I'd like to join, but I'm as new as it gets to the game. I built a humble home for myself, but have done greater things in Terraria. I'd like to help and learn a thing or two myself by doing so

(Btw, can i just bring my singleplayer char? he has quite a large amount of building supplies with him )
