Leth Probably Streaming Starbound in 1-2 Hours!

Leth came into Bartwe's stream just a few minutes ago saying he was going to be streaming a 'special' game in a few hours.
(Honestly it was obvious that it is Starbound)

On a side note, I don't know about you guys but I just can't help but sit and watch streams of Starbound content until the 4th. Something about this game has got me more excited than anything else.

 

Sweet! Can't wait.

 

Hopefully I won't miss it this time. I hope I get to see the full beta game in action this time!

I just heard on Bartwe's Stream that Leth's Stream should now be goin, but the Starbound Wiki does not have a Link to the Stream...

Some summarized Q&A from that stream (Tiy was present and answering some of the questions):

Question: Is Steam Workshop going to be supported?
Answer: Eventually for sure, but not for Beta launch.

Question: Will there be monsters that can blow up tiles, e.g. your house?
Answer: Not for Beta launch, not sure if ever. A lot of players don't like their stuff blown up.

Question: Can you replant trees?
Answer: Trees will regrow in some ways (either through replant or on their own) but not for Beta launch.

 

Q: Director mode, still planned?
A: I'd have to assume their response was a yes even though for the life of me I didn't hear a yes. They were pretty much ecstatic for the idea and even described ways that it works. Maybe I just missed the flat out answer because I had someone talking to me but I'd say it's safe to just assume it will be in the game. If not beta, post-beta.

I hope for many more Leth plays in the years to come.

Basically it lets one player control NPCs, and create and destroy stuff instantly. Like a mix of minecraft creative mode and being a dungeon master in DnD

 

I found another Wanderlust dev streaming the game.

Apparently, those syringes we've seen in concept art are actually in. They give buffs. (Blue one give jump boost, red gives health regen. There's probably more.)
