Bug/Issue Leah's Art Show Invitation - Can only walk!

So I just reached my 2nd year, and Leah swings by to invite me to the art show she's starting that evening the moment I step out of the door (one of her heart events I believe). After the little cinema thing ends and she leaves, I find myself unable to run, use tools, or interact with any objects save for chests. As I was using a controller, I tried both resetting the connection and switching over to keyboard/mouse use. No change.

Update: Just found out that walking off the map into a new area seems to fix this.
