They would be mountains or hills or plains or deserts or just land at first except for strange earthquake like moves. When approached they would rise out of the ground and pick up parts of the land and fling it at the players. You would have to climb up them and mine into there heads and mine its core away and the contents of the core would be based on area found or size.
