I'm using the latest stable update (Upbeat Giraffe) and I'm having a lag problem one one planet. I'm still in my starting system and everything works fine except on the desert planet. My character can still move around and everything but I am unable to fine or place blocks and if I walk to the left or right the land stops on an abrupt edge. Trying to walk over the edge makes the character freeze in place until you walk backwards and it goes back to how it was before. The Day/night cycles still work and I can teleport back to the ship, but after the animation plays, its normally about 15 seconds until the ship loads. Also, after leaving the planet, the whole game becomes unstable and crashes much easier. Things like crashing when trying to go to another planet or beaming back down or to my home planet. I'm not using any mods either so I assume its just a base game thing. Any help would be much appreciated.

I'm having a similar issue. An Ice planet at x: 549731617 y: -418419574 "Epsiolon 10 SGB 0079 IV". The curious issue to me is that I only experience this inside one of the dungeon areas on the planet, the robot infested spaceship type dungeon with a matter block generator in it.

I noteced a few curious things inside. Stalactites appeared in odd places inside the dungeon such as next to doors or improperly floating below platforms, as if it didn't replace the original terrain correctly. I even deleted the planet's file and re rolled the planet a few times and the issue behaved the same way each time. If I was patient and waited for each laggy chunk to load and avoided interacting with objects much, particularly containers such as cabinets and the like, I was slowly able to get through the area.

Interacting too much while the area was freezing/freaking out caused a crash once or twice, each time as I was either mucking about with a container or other object.

The rest of the planet seemed oddly safe from this problem, as the planet also had an apex jumping puzzle dungeon and digging elsewhere didn't seem to cause an issue.

I tried all client versions and the issue was the same each time. I've yet to see it cause instability elsewhere so it may be a seperate but similar issue.
